An insufferable silence
in the hollowness that becomes me
The vastness of the void
that grows in me
When all seems trite and trifle
death's no more a rival
Tired of hoping
and harassed of hope
Lays this body
under a sky of crows
[After finishing this, I decided to add a stanza. I am an eternal optimist, can't let the poor soul wither.]
My lips part
for a whiff of breath
They catch a familiar touch
but not of air
A rhythm resonates
as the wind strums in
At the sound of your voice
music fills in

My Jealousy
Jealous I am
Of course I am
But only a man
Jealous I am
Of the sun that caresses you with warmth
Of the moon whose beams shine on your face
Jealous I am
Of the breeze that gushes around you
Of the cloth that wraps around your skin
Jealous I am
Of the thoughts that occupy your mind
Of the soul that dwells in your body
Of course I am
But only a man
Jealous I am
Of the sun that caresses you with warmth
Of the moon whose beams shine on your face
Jealous I am
Of the breeze that gushes around you
Of the cloth that wraps around your skin
Jealous I am
Of the thoughts that occupy your mind
Of the soul that dwells in your body
